Exempt, Non-Supervisory

Responsibilities
  • Install, administer and troubleshoot all network, Windows, Active Directory, VMWare, Exchange, Microsoft Terminal Services systems and all associated hardware and software
  • Administer and troubleshoot the security monitoring systems by providing signature updates, modifying & updating firewall rules
  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of a disaster recovery plan including policies, procedures and programs for ensuring the security and integrity of company data
  • Administer and troubleshoot email, including SMTP, and secure email system
  • Administer and troubleshoot the Emc VNX SAN Storage.  Provision and plan for the storage capacity of systems connected to the network
  • Work with Cisco IOS command line interface and ASDM in order to configure Cisco switches, firewalls and routers & core network infrastructure devices
  • Protects the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and records that TML IEBP creates, receives, maintains or transmits by complying with TML IEBP policies and procedures on physical, administrative and technical safeguards.

Qualifications / Skills Required

 

  • Advanced knowledge of networks MS Office and Windows       
  • Working knowledge of communications software and hardware
  • Working knowledge of TCP, Internet Protocols and Internet connectivity concepts
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve end-end user software and hardware issues
  • Understand basic internet connectivity, routing and related tools and protocols pertaining to TCP/IP, DNS, ftp, http and smtp
  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within the information technology field, eoe
